Kentucky Beach Resort can be found along the edge of the beautiful and calm waters of Blood River. Blood River is an inlet of Kentucky Lake, located in far western Kentucky. Kentucky Beach Resort is located about 1/2 mile from the mouth of the Blood River, providing easy access to Kentucky Lake. Blood River contains over 8000 acres of excellent fishing, boating, and recreation -- more remote, but still just a short drive to Murray, Aurora, and the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. *Click on the map at right for a larger version

The Blood River offers a rare fishing opportunity, isolated from the main lake activity with calm water, less boating traffic and fishing pressure. Since our location is in a cove approximately 1/2 mile from the main lake, we offer easy access to the lake as well as all of the benefits of the Blood River inlet!

Do you like seclusion? Kentucky Beach Resort is one of only five resorts on Kentucky Lake from the Eggner's Ferry Bridge (US 68) to the Kentucky/Tennessee State line. How do I get there?

From the east or south via Interstate 24:
I-24 to 68/80 at Cadiz exit. Follow 68/80 through Land Between the Lakes. After you cross the Kentucky Lake bridge, go about 3/4 mile and watch carefully for 94 - turn left. Go 4 miles and turn left onto 1346. Take a right at the first stop sign (still on 1346) and follow 1346 to 732. Turn left on 732 and go 4 miles. Turn right on Lynhurst Drive.

From the west or north via Interstate 24:
I-24 to exit 25A (Purchase Parkway). Purchase Parkway to Exit 47. Turn left onto US 68. Stay in the left lane and follow US 68 for 16 miles thru Aurora to the Stop Sign at 80. (4 lane blacktop) Turn right on 80; go about 3/4 mile and watch carefully for 94 - turn left. Go 4 miles and turn left onto 1346. Take a right at the first stop sign (still on 1346) and follow 1346 to 732. Turn left on 732 and go 4 miles. Turn right on Lynhurst Drive. *Click on the map at right for a larger version

Kentucky Beach Resort is a premier fishing and family recreation destination. Recognizing that a family vacation is a major investment of valuable time and money, we strive to provide facilities and activities for the whole family at affordable prices. We are one of the rare resorts that charge by the room, not by the number of people in the room which can be a significant savings to our guests with larger families. Maximum occupancy is listed for each unit and includes adults and children combined. We cannot allow extra people beyond the maximum occupancy listed and we cannot allow air mattresses, cots, sleeping bags, etc. for extra sleeping space.

We have a small coffee shop to serve breakfast for the spring fishermen who prefer to hit the lake early. Nearly all of our units have kitchens as well.
